SBI PO Recruitment Notification Details 2015

SBI (State Bank of India largest public sector bank in India has released notification for Probationary Officers (PO) recruitment for the year 2015. This notification they are going to fill total 2000 PO posts across India. So guys be prepared to acheive your dream job. Minimum educational qualification to apply SBI PO posts is graduation. Online registration of application is from 13.04.2015 TO 02.05.2015.

Academic Qualifications: (AS ON 01.09.2015)
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final year/Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 01.09.2015. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 01.09.2015.

APPLICATION FEE AND INTIMATION CHARGE:
The Bank may add additional centres or may delete some of the centres indicated for training. Candidates opting for pre-examination training should download their call letter for training by entering their registration number and password/ date of birth from 26.05.2015 onwards from Bank's website. No hard copy of the call letter will be sent by post.

Exam Pattern:

SBI PO exam will be held in two phases:

Phase I:Preliminary Exam
In this phase, examination consists of 100 marks with 1 hour duration. This exam consists the following tests

  • English Language - 30 marks
  • Quantitative Aptitude - 35 Marks
  • Reasoning Ability - 35 Marks
    • Total - 100 Marks

Phase II:Main Exam

This exam consists of 250 marks (200 Marks objective + 50 Marks descriptive) with 2 hour duration. This exam consists of the following tests:
  • Test of English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.)
  • Test of General Awareness, Marketing &Computers
  • Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation
  • Test of Reasoning (High Level) and
  • Descriptive Test (Letter Writing & Essay).
